STadium
A stadium is the stage of sports event. I believe there is a stadium
in Phoenix called Bank One Ballpark, but I am not entirely sure.
Baseball is one a few sports that are played in a Stadium. Another is
Football. However the size and shape of the stadiums is different. I
don't know if Soccer is played in a Stadium, though it is played on a
field, I am not sure that the whole of the field is called a Stadium.
Other then Stadiums sports can be played in Arenas. Hockey is played
in an arena, as well as uh…. Rock Concerts. Which leads us totally off
topic.
Back to Stadiums. Stadiums are usually full of bleachers for seating
for the fans or that long word I really wish I could remember right
now. I'm misspelling a lot of things. Stadiums also sell food the fans
who come to watch, and I wonder what ever happened to that guy who
used to walk around and sell it to you. Now it seems you have to get
up and get it yourself.
I actually watched Baseball in a Stadium once. The Michigan White Caps
played, and I have to say it was quite boring. I prefer hockey to
baseball, but that would lead us off track and into Arenas again. A
Stadium could also be like a Coliseum if you ask me. Coliseums were
used way back for so called sport events with Gladiators, when
violence was something you actually wanted to go see. Who knows why.
Anyway, Stadiums could also have rock concerts I guess, just like
arenas, but you know I don't think that they usually do that. I wonder
why not? Too much tending to all the grass and lines and sand or what
not. Not like Hockey where you just melt the ice down and everyone's
all set. But then again, those are Arenas, which I think am beginning
to like better then Stadiums. I really want to go fix all the stupid
red wiggly lines, but you told me not to stop typing. I think I
spelled Stadium wrong almost every time I wrote it.
Stadiums are almost always named after whoever built them. And just
when you think they are gonna call it something cool, someone wants
their name on it. What's up with that? I don't know, but I guess if
they paid all that money that's what they get. Hmmm….
Anyway, Stadiums are also good for something I'm sure, but you know
I'm actually running out of things to say about it. Frankly I quite
dislike Stadiums now, and I think I'll stick to Arenas. Which of
course, are also named after whoever built them. Can I go correct all
those misspellings yet? Darn it, I almost did to. So about Arenas
being better then Stadiums.
For one, I can't spell Stadium. It really looks correct, but I just
can't spell it. Stadium. Ohh, I keep putting the u first. Anyway, a
second reason is cause Arenas are multipurpose, and you know what, the
third is cause they are indoors. It wont rain on you in an Arena. It
wont be one hundred and fifteen degrees either. Fourth, well, arenas
have Hockey, and you all need to face the fact that hockey is way more
exciting then Baseball. Fifly, Arenas have concerts. If anyone has
heard of a stadium having a concert, please let me know. Sixth, well I
don't really know yet, so let me think on it. Seventh, arenas are
better cause I can spell it, and its not causing more red wigglys.
Though causing just did…. Twice! Lastly, I don't really know if this
is lastly, I just wanted to write that. Lastly, arenas are bigger,
yeah, bigger. I'm willing to bet most are. And they have the box
seating at the top too, just like Stadiums do. So, that's why arenas
are better then StadIUms. Ooo page two.
So on Page two we're gonna talk more about StadIUms. If I capitalized
the IU it still thinks its spelled wrong. Stadium. Weird that the auto
checker doesn't fix that. Even Word doesn't like Stadiums.
